Probabil ca cei care lucreaza la receptie la tine sunt majoritate fete si care arata bine, acestea fiind 2 avantaje esentiale pentru a fi angajat pe un post de receptioner. La baieti e mai greu, trebuie sa faci cursuri, trebuie sa te faci remarcat. E adevarat ca poti sa te muti de la housekeeping la receptie, dar asta poate sa ia timp si multi nu reusesc. Eu am terminat o facultate destul de buna in afara uk, dar cum eram restrictionat sa lucrez doar in customer services datorita nvq-ului care il fac, am ales sa lucrez in hotel pe o pozitie de receptioner care in mod normal, nu cere mai mult de o diploma de liceu si experienta in domeniu. Job marketul mi-a demonstrat ca daca n-ai un curs, o experienta in spate care sa te sprijine in domeniul in care aplici, ai putine sanse sa te cheme la un interviu, pentru ca cei de la HR vor sa gaseasca exact de ce au nevoie, folosind cat mai putin training posibil...

Bineinteles, depinde de tine daca vei putea sa obti un job dupa ce termini cursul, ei nu-ti garanteaza un loc de munca, tot trebuie sa te lupti pentru el. Nu poti obtine yellow card daca te inscri la cursul asta de la reception academy, si nici nu te ajuta cu actele.

Salutare, Impreuna cu viitoarea sotie lucrez in Danemarca printr-o agentie de munca in housekeeping de aproape un an. In Octombrie anul acesta ne vom casatorii. Dupa nunta avem de gand sa mergem in Anglia(cred ca Londra) pentru a lucra tot in domeniul hotelier. Pengtru ca vom fi veniti pentru prima oara in Anglia, vom incerca sa ne inscriem la un NVQ pe profil, am prefera receptionist. Am citit cu atentie topicul, dar va rog sa-mi spuneti.. 1. Cate sanse credeti ca avem sa gasim de munca in housekeeping in perioada octombrie-noiembrie ? 2. Cum ne recomandati sa facem sa ne inscriem online cu cateva luni/saptamani inainte de a ajunge la un NVQ, sau sa mergem si in acelasi timp sa ne si inscriem si sa cautam de munca(part time) in domeniu. 3. Este posibil sa putem gasii colegii in domeniu care in schimbul unei sume mai mari sa ne poate inscrie si la NVQ anticipat si sa ne si ofere un loc de munca full time? Eu m-am inscris la cel de la 7.30 in speranta ca voi gasi si un part time job dupa 12 Blue card "fizic" nu am, insa am 12 luni muncite legal ca au pair si pot face dovada ca nu mai am restrictii pe piata muncii Ar dura vreo 6 luni pana primesc blue cardul iar pe site ul UKBA zice ca putem aplica pentru registration certificate dupa 12 luni desi nu e neaparat nevoie, deci.. Cu engleza cum stai? Am inteles ca e bine sa iti dai interesul la curs si sa obtii note bune la examene. Conteaza foarte mult pentru angajatori. Sper sa fie bine, abia astept un job si niste bani Despre salariu nu stiu, am vazut pe site uri ca undeva la 8-10lire/ora. Si eu m-am inscris prima oara la cel de la 7:30 dar am schimbat dupa pentru ca nu mai aveam timp sa ma duc la servici, terminam cursul la 11 30 pana ajungeam in Colindale se facea 1 30 pana ajungeam la servici se facea 2 si la 5 plecam, asa muncesc pana la 3 si sper sa ajung la cursuri pana la 4:30, ai o harta cum sa ajungi acolo de la liverpool station? eu prima oara cand m-am dus am facut 1 ora si 30 de minute pe jos pana am gasit locatia.
