FOUR men have been arrested in connection with a murder in Sydenham. At around 2.10am yesterday (February 9) police were called to Mayow Road, Sydenham, to reports of a disturbance. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended, and found an injured man inside an address. The victim, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem will be held at 9.30am today (February 10) at Greenwich mortuary. An incident room has opened at Lewisham under Detective Inspector Graeme Gwyn from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command. Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses. The four men were arrested at the address at the time in connection with the inquiry, and remain in custody at south London police stations. TWO men have been charged with the murder of a Romanian man in Sydenham. Officers were called to a bungalow in Mayow Road, at 2.10am following reports of a disturbance on February 9. Csaba Siklodi, aged 42, of no fixed address, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination held at Greenwich mortuary gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds. Gheorghe Mihai Teodorescu, aged 46, and 51-year-old Marcea Corbu, both of no fixed address, were charged with his murder on February 10. They are due to appear by video at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court today.
