    Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
    Accountable to: Care Team Leader
    Personal Profile
    •To deliver personal care and support to residents as specified in the care plan.
    •Ensure that services provided meet organisational standards and uphold the core values of CLS.
    Main Responsibilities
    •Provide coaching & guidance to the care team and provide cover in the absence of the Care Team Leader
    •To be a competent role model to the team
    •Administering and recording of medication as and when required.
    •Participate in the review; recording and updating of care plans when required.
    •Act as a Key worker and participate in residents review meetings.
    •Support residents with washing, using the toilet, dressing, undressing and all other aspects of daily living.
    •Take part in social activities and support and encourage residents to continue with hobbies and activities in and outside the home.
    •Assist with serving food and drinks supporting residents who need assistance during meal times
    Assist in the delivery of care for residents who are dying or who have a progressive illness.
    •Respond to residents and visitors in a prompt and appropriate manner
    •Carry out regular night checks as part of a waking night shift determined by the care plan.
    •Undertake moving & handling of residents and loads using specialist equipment
    •Ensure the home and residents rooms are kept clean and tidy including making and changing beds.
    •Ensure individual aids and equipment used by residents are maintained e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles, dentures etc.
    •Support residents travelling to and from the home e.g. on social outings, hospital visits etc.
    •Ensure that all information regarding residents and the organisation is not divulged to third parties without approval.
    General:
    •Notify the Manager or Shift Leader personally, whenever possible, your inability to report for duty, and also on your return to work from any periods of absence.
    •Attend meetings as and when required.
    •Attend and undertake learning & development that has a legal or organisational requirement
    •Promote safe working practice within the home responding to emergencies as required.
    •Promote and ensure the good reputation of the home.
    •Adhere to all policies and procedures.
    •Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you.

    Angajatorul a contrasemnat pentru mine formularul. Mi-au trimis prin posta un formular pe care eu l-am trimis completat inapoi la agentia de recrutari. Ar fi trebuit sa fie gata intr-o luna.

    Daca vorbim despre acelasi document eu stiu ca sureaza 2 saptamani..adica asa mi.a zis angajatorul si asa am cirit si eu pe net din experienta altei persoane..acuma na sa vedem

    Salut! Din cate am inteles de la managerul pentru care lucrez in prezent sunt 21 de asistenti din tara care se pregatesc sa vina in Irlanda de Nord(Belfast,Ballymena, Ballyclaire,etc),in ce stadiu sunteti cu actele ? Va lucra cineva pentru Runwood Care Homes?

    Eu vin in Ballymoney :). Adica noi venim in Ballymoney. Tocmai ce am semnat contractele, nu cred sa mai dureze mai mult de o luna. Tu unde esti romina, in Belfast?

    Neatza Romina. Eu sunt una dintre acei 21( pfff nu stiam ca suntem asa multi). Te rog spune-mi si mie cate ceva din experienta ta cu ei.
    Mi-au trimis contractul, urmeaza sa-l semnez, insa ce ma induce in eroare e faptul ca nu precizeaza locatia exacta, spunndu-mi ca ulterior vom afla si locatia.

    Se refera la mine si la baiatul nostru de 4 ani jumate. Suntem amandoi asistenti, vom lucra in 2 care home apropiate si venim cu copilul.

    Exista o optiune pentru Admin/GMod/Mod de a face split-topic. Adica sa faca de exemplu un topic nou numit "cocina" si acolo sa mute toate posturile care merita sa fie mutate acolo.
    Zic si eu...

    Asa am si facut.
    Am mutat toate mesajele care aveau "report". Daca doriti si mai multe mesaje mutate acolo, le mut. O sa iau in considerare, fireste, doar reporturile intemeiate. Din pacate nu am avut timp sa citesc tot si sa aleg si alte mesaje in afara de cele evidentiate.

    Daca nu apasa nimeni report sau nu imi spune pe mess/facebook/skype ca exista o problema, eu nu intru pe topicuri specializate de genul acestuia. Ma astept ca lumea sa discute lucruri serioase, nu sa aiba nevoie de militian care sa mentina ordinea.

    Cu alte cuvinte - daca exista plangeri, intervin. Altfel nu.

    salut tuturor sunt noua pe site si as avea o intrebare pentru oricine ma poate ajuta cu un raspuns.Am primit in sfarsit recomandarea de la minister dupa 5 luni....Acum vreau sa trimit pentru PIN.Problema mea este ca am doar 1 a si o luna experienta adica 2011-2012 lucrat si am certificat de competente din 2006.Am vreo sansa sa obtin pin-ul...Astept raspunsuri de la voi....

    Contractul este cu FSHC si este specificat numele casei precum si faptul ca te pot muta (suportand ei costurile transportului de la noua locatie pana acasa).
    Agentia prin care plecam este Simply Health Recruitment si sunt foarte multumita de colaborarea cu ei. Pentru cei care iau in considerare o relocare in Irlanda de Nord, pot lua legatura cu Sharon Miller, cu care vor da interviul. O doamna de nota 10!. Pentru adresa ei de mail/ skype astept PM .

    Scrisesem un mail mai lung si detaliat referitor la ajutorul, primit de la FSHC, cu relocarea, respectiv penalitatile in caz de nerespectare a celor 12 luni de contract, dar nu stiu cum l-am pierdut; nu s-a postat.
    Beneficiile le-a pomenit Razvan cred. Penalitatile sunt: returnarea contravalorii biletelor de avion, a primei luni de chirie si o suma in cuantum de 1000 lire care scade pe parcursul celor 12 luni.
    In contract mai este prevazut si un bilet de avion la sfarsitul celor 12 luni, pentru reintoarcerea in tara, ori excursie, ori definitiv :).

    pffff... am crezut ca esti tot pt Ronnwood Homes. Cat despre Simply Health Recruitment si eu am aceleasi cuvinte de lauda , insa din pacate am ratat in luna martie interviul pt FSHC. Bafta multa!

    Buna ziua tuturor. Ma numesc Claudia, asistent medical. Eu pleca pe la jumatatea luni mai si am sa lucrez in Essex la Runwood. Mi-au spus ca in asteptarea PIN-ululi am sa lucrez ca si carrer. Voi stiti Ceva de treaba asta? Vreau sa spun ca deja am semnat contractul. Lamuriti-ma si pe mine, va rog frumos. multumesc mult.

    Experienta conteaza mai mult cand aplici pentru job,adica dupa ce ai primit PIN-ul.

    NMC iti acorda dreptul de a profesa ca si asistent medical/nurse pe tertoriul UK in baza diplomei de asistent medical generalist,dobandite in

    Romania(in cazul tau).In urma traducerii/legalizarii diplomei si daca toate actele sunt in regula,cu siguranta iti vor elibera PIN No.

    Au fost cazuri care au obtinut PIN-ul imediat dupa au terminat scoala, au facut ceva voluntariat,dupa care au aplicat pt PIN.

    Nu spun ca nu conteaza,doar ca nu e o contidie de baza.Dar in cazul tau, deja vad ca ai ceva experienta,deci nu ar trebui sa intampini prea

    multe probleme.Succes!

    Buna! Am o intrebare. A semnat cineva third party application? Eu am probleme cu actele de la NMC, nu inteleg ce tot vor de la mine. Prima data mi-au trimis o scrisoare ca sa relegalizez niste acte ( doar varianta in romana). Le-am trimis dupa vreo 2 zile inapoi, firma de curierat mi-a confirmat ca a ajuns dupa alte 2 zile ( asta s-a intamplat aprox. cu 2 sapt in urma), iar saptamana asta am primit iarasi o scrisoare in care imi scria ca aceleasi acte care le-am trimis, lipsesc din dosarul meu -nervos- . Am sunat la NMC, bineinteles ca nu mi-au raspuns ca liniile sunt ocupate, si dupa ce am insistat m-am hotarat sa dau mail la firma din Anglia cu care colaborez. Le-am zis ce s-a intamplat si mi-au spus sa semnez acest third party application ca sa poata vb in numele meu la NMC. Acuma, am vb iarasi cu cei de la firma si mi-au zis ca NMC-ul inca nu au scanat acel formular semnat.

    Scuze de tot romanul asta scris aici, dar ma gandesc ca poate mai sunt printre voi persoane care au patit la fel, si as vrea sa stiu ce au facut ca eu sunt in dubii. Nu stiu daca sa trimit iarasi actele legalizate sau sa astept sa vada cei de la NMC acel forumular. Daca stiti ceva, va rog sa-mi spuneti cum ati procedat si cat timp a durat pana NMC-ul a luat la cunostinta acel forumular.
